Once configured, the user will be given access to their unique HTML, which they can then copy and paste into their web site as well as giving them access to their click statistics. The system will track which orders are affiliate generated and will show you when a commission payment is due. You then simply assign a commission for the order to the affiliate. There is also an affiliate payment management system which lets you see the payments you have made to affiliates. Traditionally, you may have paid a third party affiliate service to recruit and manage your affiliates. This is not only expensive but you don't get the value from the affiliates in-bound links. By running your own affiliate program, your web site will get lots of in-bound links, which will improve your search engine rankings. This is something you don't get when using 3rd party services so this is another great reason to use Shop Maker. |
