Settings

Shop settings

You can change your shop status to open or closed here. If you shop is set to closed the shop closed page will be displayed. You can create this page if you do not want to display the standard shop closed page. The standard page will display this graphic in the centre of the page.

Product and category image settings

When you upload an image to a category or a product, Shop Maker will re-size this image automatically to the sizes you specify. If will also optimises the jpeg to the specified quality. The full size image is displayed if a shopper clicks on a products thumbnail image while the product page image is the standard image displayed when a shopper goes to a product page. The thumbnail images are displayed to the left of the product page image.

Stock control settings

If you have the stock control status set to yes, your product stock quantities will be adjusted when you update an orders status to Paid. Stock adjustments are only made once per order so duplicate stock adjustments don�t occur.

You can also decide whether or not to display products that are out of stock and set the default out of stock message.

Contact form settings

This is where you enter the email address that you wish to receive your contact form data.
If you select to use Image verification, a 5 digit image will be displayed which the shopper will need to enter in order for the form data to be sent.

Forgotten password settings

This is where you enter the email address that you wish the forgotten password requests to be sent from.
If you select to use Image verification, a 5 digit image will be displayed which the shopper will need to enter in order for the form data to be sent.

Checkout email settings

If this feature is enabled, the address will be emailed each time a shopper checks out. This email is sent before a person has paid so please make sure you check that a payment has been received before dispatching items.
